Follow these steps for pressing, peeling and finishing your Falcon Instant Peel transfers.
Place your DTF transfer in the desired position on the garment. Secure it with heat-resistant tape to prevent it from shifting during pressing. For seams, pockets, sleeves, hats or thicker items, use a heat-resistant foam pad to create even pressure across the application area.
Set your heat press to 282°F / 139°C and press for 9 seconds using medium–high pressure. These settings are for Falcon’s standard DTF heat transfers. If you are using a different transfer type, follow its specific application guide.
Lift the heat press and peel the Instant Peel film in one smooth motion. If you feel resistance, lay the film back down and press for another 2–3 seconds, then peel again. If resistance continues, increase the temperature by 5–10°F / 3–5°C or adjust the pressure to suit the fabric thickness.
After peeling, cover the design with parchment paper or a Teflon cover sheet. Press again for 5–6 seconds to finish bonding the transfer. Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Turn the garment inside out, wash in cold water with mild detergent, and tumble dry on low.
